Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most important Hindu festivals. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. Homes are decorated with diyas and rangoli, people wear new clothes, exchange sweets, and burst crackers. The festival also marks Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana, and Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped for prosperity and wealth.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a popular Hindu festival celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. The festival is observed with great devotion by installing Ganesha idols at homes and public places, performing prayers (puja), chanting mantras, and offering modaks. It usually lasts for 1 to 11 days, ending with Ganesh Visarjan, symbolizing the cycle of creation and dissolution.
