Dussehra, also known as Vijaya Dashami, is a major Hindu festival that symbolizes the victory of good over evil. It marks Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and the triumph of Goddess Durga over Mahishasura. The festival comes after nine days of Navaratri celebrations. People worship weapons, tools, and books (Ayudha Puja), perform special poojas, and celebrate new beginnings on this auspicious day.
