This temple is set atop Deviramma Betta, a sacred hill near Bindiga village known for its spiritual significance. Many devotees undertake a trek to the hilltop shrine, especially during Deepavali/Naraka Chaturdashi when the temple is traditionally opened for special darshan and rituals, drawing large crowds of pilgrims.
